Meet The Founder

M’lynn Arend was introduced to the world of herbalism at the ripe age of three when allopathic medicine had disregarded her. Her whole life she struggled with digestive imbalances, hormonal imbalances, and heart issues. Doctor after doctor, appointment after appointment, she was left with no answer as to what the issue or solution was. Losing all hope in allopathic medicine, she had turned to the plants hoping to receive their medicinal benefits; and the plants worked in her favor. As her use of herbs increased, so did her knowledge. M’lynn discovered a hidden passion for herbal medicine during her health hardships and she has decided to dedicate her life to it; helping others overcome what doctors overlooked. She began to forage for medicinal herbs and make medicine of her own. For the past five years, M’lynn has been a voice for the plants; helping others in their healing journey and letting the plant’s voice be heard.

M’lynn is a former Washington state native, growing up in a small town where everyone was related. She now resides in Gilbert, Arizona enjoying the blue skies and sunny days. M’lynn is a clinical herbalist, menopausal coach, business owner, and entrepreneur. Taught by world-renowned herbalist Joanna Sanchez and mentored by Merihelen Nunez at Tangled Root Botanicals through her herbal education. As well, M’lynn is trained by world-leading PhDs, pelvic health physios, strength and nutrition coaches, and OB/GYNs, during her menopause coaching course.

HerBiology is in the business of empowerment. M’lynn’s goal is to help individuals take control of their health and reconnect people with the planet. M’lynn believes that she is not the healer, the plants are; she is merely the messenger of the plants' gifts. At HerBiology, anybody and everybody is welcome and will be nourished one herb at a time.

HerBiology was created and designed for menopausal women coming into full expression. A safe place where women can be free to embrace whatever they may be experiencing. At HerBiology one-on-one sessions are offered to women seeking help with their menopausal journey and in return will receive a protocol designed just for you! So join the movement, embrace all that is becoming and be grateful for all that once was. HerBiology invites you to come be a part of our tribe and blossom into your full crown.
